Where were you
When lightening struck When the sky became light And the light became hope No room for the dark Or the cracks of the crows Where were you When the butterflies danced And the dragonflies followed Blanketing the world With mere wandering wings Flying to find faith in the Fields of the fleeting Where were you When love came rising Chasing the sun And its star crossed gaze Just trying to get home To her angels on high Where were you When lightening struck When we ceased to be Two become one And one become Free
